For the Muslims, who are trying to do damage control, a gentle reminder: you can't refute facts, only what is actually false or non-factual. Fact 1: Aisha and Fatima are mentioned in the Targum as Ishamel's wives. Fact 2: That both of these names are used in relation to women associated with Muhammad is a remarkable coincidence. The dating of the Targum to the 4th century AD is based on its priestly focus, unlike other Targums, due to an attempt to re-build the Temple at that time. Only this part of the argument has any wiggle room for debate. But again, a reminder Fatima and Aisha are mentioned as wives of Ishmael. If Muslims want to say Jews copied Islam, they will need to explain why Jews would want to state something so silly considering that by that time these figures would have been widely known. Whereas the Targum was a niche document that few knew so Islam could borrow details from it with few aware that it was false and borrowed from the Targum.

Everybody knows that Fatima is the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from his wife Khadija. But these people link her to Ishmael as his daughter with Aisha and assumed them to be Jewish. Granting that their assumption is correct as regards to Fatima, the daughter of Ishmael and Aisha to be Jewish which is of course questionable, it doesn't make Fatima, the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) a Jewish. Likewise, if Aisha, the wife of Ishmael, is Jewish, it doesn't make Aisha, the wife of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the daughter of Abubakar, a Jewish. The similarities of the names of two or three persons would make them similar in their nationalities. A Jewish person cannot be an Arab by virtue of a similar name. And vice-versa. This is just like Aaron, the brother of Mary who has the same name with the brother of Moses. Likewise, Mariam, the sister of Moses, cannot be Mary, the mother of Prophet jESUs (pbuh). Making them one and the same person is a very lunatic idea. The state of mind of these people is already questionable. There is already a need for them to undergo thorough diagnosis at the Mental Asylum. -09-30-23

The main gist of the argument is pretty clear. Access to the source material for reworking into the Islamic narrative is always a question, but there is definitely an attempt to explain from whence the source material came and when it was used. There is totality of evidence that is hard to ignore showing many other texts made their way into the Quran and hadiths. Aiysha and Fatima making their way into the hadiths from this Targum shouldn't be a surprise. The legitimacy motivation whereby Ishmael's family configuration if only by name with MHMD's own family configuration seems reasonable. Good job.

One objection is ”if people are going to fabricate stories about Muhammad because they are inventing a new religion, they are obviously going to fabricate stories that make Muhammed look good”. The blessed messenger was Jesus, but the rulers introduced a new messenger a ruler with the name "Blessed" who had conquered a city, killed the men and took the women as slaves so that the believers would believe that it is the prophet "Blessed" who is God's messenger and thus see it as morally right to conquer villages, kill the men and take the women captive to be sold in slave markets. And so they compiled a holy book with all the messages that God's messenger the prophet "Blessed" had get from God.

My own theory which may connects dots in linking Jews, Christians and Arabs in the evolution of Islam. Quran had to be written by the sect of Christians who believed that Jesus was a prophet and not a God. This make Abbasids those Christians of Arabia, from Petra , modern day Jordan. They also did not believe in the trinity. The most important feature of the Jewish Christians is that they insisted on keeping their Jewish customs, like circumcision, not eating pork and stoning. What faith today still have these in their teachings? Its Islam. So its plausible that Mohammed was not only a Christian but also a Jew.

Everybody knows that Fatima is the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from his wife Khadija. But these people link her to Ishmael as his daughter with Aisha and assumed them to be Jewish. Granting that their assumption is correct as regards to Fatima, the daughter of Ishmael and Aisha to be Jewish which is of course questionable, it doesn't make Fatima, the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) a Jewish. Likewise, if Aisha, the wife of Ishmael, is Jewish, it doesn't make Aisha, the wife of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the daughter of Abubakar, a Jewish. The similarities of the names of two or three persons would make them similar in their nationalities. A Jewish person cannot be an Arab by virtue of a similar name. And vice-versa. This is just like Aaron, the brother of Mary who has the same name with the brother of Moses. Likewise, Mariam, the sister of Moses, cannot be Mary, the mother of Prophet jESUs (pbuh). Making them one and the same person is a very lunatic idea. The state of mind of these people is already questionable.
