My parents had me pay them rent when I lived I with them. But I also never had to cook, do laundry or clean. So how could I complain. I only had to take turns mowing with my father and take out the trash

For all years of college,my deal was 2-3 nights doing dishes,shoveling snow in the winter,doing my own laundry, cooking or providing a meal a week, and a 10:30 curfew outside (work and studying eventually walked this back). That and the odd family project around the house was a fair trade for good family.
