As a mom I can't imagine leaving my kids with someone who really does not want to watch them, I'd not only feel terrible for being so intrusive but would be worrying about my kids all day. This is why we don't use those neighbor apps 😅😂

So I’m a very religious catholic…with that said I can’t wrap my head around people who throw their religion on others. It makes absolutely no sense to me and gives me the biggest ick.

I am religious myself, and I can't wrap my head around that either. If you are a Christian, that means you're following Christ's teachings. I don't remember Christ ever shoving religion, righteousness, etc. down anyone's throats. He led with love for everyone where they were in their life. Yet these "Christians" think they need to shove religious living & beliefs down people's throats. They really don't understand Christ at all IMO.

Whell it depends on the actual attitude. My mom and my mother in law are both older, both widows. So I kind of feel good when I can help. I am helping my mom, less with money, more with everything else, from mending something at home, to dealing with paperwork, banks etc. My husband and his siblings are helping their mom more with the money (they are renting out the appartment for her in the city). And I think it's normal, cause both parents gave up a lot to raise us and helpt trough the university.

My grandma has 6 kids and expects nothing from her kids. Infact if you do something for her ie mowing her lawn, buying her an expensive top of the line fridge, or even just cooking for her. You will temporarily end up on her shit list, she does that kind of stuff for her kids and grandchildren but hates it when we do that stuff for her, she has openly stated that she want to be independent untill she can't anymore. Tbh she's a very scary lady who is one of my role models, I love how independent she is, the only fault she has is not knowing when to ask for help untill shes neck deep into a problem, that she could've gotten out of if she had asked for help.
