Hi i have the same Aiwa Hifi and i am wondering if you could check to see when the hifi is off is the AMP warm when in standby mode. Any help would be great.

@Steven Elliott Mine is the same. I’ve put it on a meter and apparently it is still drawing about 20 watts while on standby. Unfortunately mine just died a couple of days ago. I powered it on from cold and after a few minutes I heard a click and saw it powered itself off. It wouldn’t power on again…. No longer any click sound and the display and volume red LED would only come up for a fraction of a second if I press the power button. I suspect a dead relay. 🙁

Greetings from Russia. I have the same hi-fi. I also noticed that in standby mode the radiator from below is very hot. I think it's ok. And another question, do you have a user manual for this hi-fi? I would be very grateful
