AJJ helped me through the toughest years of my youth, and I listened to them almost exclusively for a year or two. Some of their pieces define major parts of my life and I couldn’t express the effect their songs have had. I’m glad they are still out there being badass.

3:54 the first time I'd ever taken a psychedelic I had to perform 1st chair tuba the next day for my high school concert band, I was young and stupid for not understanding that I would still be full fledged in a trip. I just remember being balls deep in a tuxedo pretending to play tuba the entire time until it came to my solo, that was the only thing I played in a 45 minute performance. Idk, him barely tapping the drum reminded me of an acid story carry on.

Eric Miller The true radical turning point was Knife Man, when they were a straight up punk band for a while. They do sound good as an electric band, but I prefer the raw and sorta throat-shattering sound from their acoustic origins
