A toilet continuously flushing is probably not an issue that needs a professional plumber in my experience. Usually it's just something jammed in the tank drain preventing it from closing all the way. One of my home toilets had the chain keep coming off and getting caught in there regularly; you just have to pop the top off the back, reach in there and pull it out. (Since it's the water that's going to be used in the toilet but hasn't yet, it isn't really dirty or gross, but I still recommend washing your hands after.) Now if a toilet is continuously flushing _and_ overflowing, then you might need a plumber.

...I still sometimes catch myself staring off into infinity, recalling the time my squad and I were confronted by a little boy holding a box he was probably told contained a shoeshine kit -but could clearly see it contained a headcrab and two crushing wall traps. The bastards KNEW we would spot the headcrab (it was wriggling its forelegs out of the air holes), and be forced to decide between getting turned into headcrab zombies moments before getting turned into paste by the wall traps... Or kite the little twerp into a gorilla guerilla ambush we spotted a few clicks down the street. We didn't hesitate. The boy was obviously malnourished and rendered with too-few polygons and he could barely manage to pathfind towards us -he even got hung up on some complex terrain for a few minutes, but after some persistent coaxing and save/reload shenanigans we managed to get him moving down the path. None of my crew spotted the noclip plane located along the path adjacent to some harmless looking stones, but by the time I spotted the deadly hazard, it was already too late... The moment the boy started getting caught on the terrain again, he suddenly disappeared from view -this fading screams of "SHOE-SHINE, G.I.?!" was all that could be heard for a few moments before trailing off into silence. Then the godsdamned guerilla gorillas heard one of our crew talking shit about the behavior of another grunt's mother the night before while some Wutang Clan knock-off's promotional CDRW+ blasted in the background. Poor bastard didn't last two seconds, and the rest of my crew didn't fair any better. If I hadn't been preoccupied a couple dozen meters behind with changing my hotkeys for "crouch" and "changeweapon = next," I would have been gibbed along with them... Sometimes, I wonder if I wasn't supposed to be rendered as a pile of meat polygons and blood splatter textures alongside them... Keeps me up at night.
