But besides rap, many singers also sing without autotune and play without a playback. I am not saying that having a playback is bad. I mean artists like Radiohead or Björk use devices like modular synthesizers, drum machines or consoles, which need little hand movement. But at least they are being honest about it, AND they use these elements to produce sounds that acoustic instruments cannot. They don't just pretend playing acoustic instruments.

you can just see the effort the trumpet is putting in at the end for anyone else who's played you'll understanding that she's not only moving with the tempo, she's trying to use the last bit of her energy and is squirming cuz of it. fuckin amazing playing. i could never dream of being that good

Is it weird if I cry to this song? For me it really speaks something like "I'm here, my work is here. It's insignificant, but please please just give it a listen." I make (shitty) music and I always feel like I never belong to the cool kids, so I really feel the lyrics. Thank you so so much for making this song. And thank goodness the internet popularized it through Valorant clips
