Hi. I really enjoy your honesty.Im totally new to sniping with my fourth game tomorrow 1st day at sniping.I think if we didn't have internet,we would simply get creative until we perfected it.I do like KM guille suits,then you just add to it.Ive a guille rifle cover and scope cover.Im going to try to turn my camouflage jacket into a guille type set up. i would say that any ghillie suit can work depending on how much work you put into it BUT the question you should be asking yourself is more "do i want a suit that will last longer because i play every weekend as sniper OR do i want a cheaper suit that might crack over time but that is ok because i'm more of a casual sniper player"

Great input! The strength and colour adaptation are my 2 favourite features of the KMCS that I want in a suit. I also noticed this summer it allowed the wind to pass through it cooling me down.

Picked out that kmcs right away when you said it was there , that chinese suit now looks great , what did you use to dye the leaves I have tried to dye a few but doesn't seem to take

I can't remember. I either used iDye poly or acrylic ink. The KMCS works great.

Thank you! Pinch of salt really, as mentioned in the video, and my previous videos, if I want to hide in the kmcs without it being modified I could no problem! The video wasn’t really to say the KMCS is bad, more just to say if you can’t get one... you can do this instead. Glad you liked it!

So how much was the suit, how much was the spray , how much was the fake leaves??????....not £15 I'm taking it in total?. I'm not trying to be argumentative but I clicked on this because my budget is pretty non existent, after rent ,Bill's, food petrol blah blah family come first and all that...I got stupidly excited to think 15 (already a stretch for me) could get me a viable ghillie suit......nieve i know.

I actually take all that back...was a bit grumpy cos money is tight and I'm struggling a bit ....after watching it again it's a really good informative video.....still way cheaper than other suits and shows a great way to match colours in the wild.....10/10 for informative demo on how to make a much better suit than most expensive ones out there.

Very informative video! What do you think about a mud bath for the kmcs or leafsuits in general?

Thanks Niklas! For my Chinese suits I never mud bathed them as I sprayed them dark to represent my dark sites. However, this means they are stuck to only working in dark wet areas. In Northern Ireland it rains a lot however we still have dry bright summers so the cheaper suits struggle if permanently dyed dark. Regards the KMCS my favourite feature is its ability to change colour. I haven’t ran mine through mud however I have ran it through damp grass etc and it goes from mimicking dry leaves to looking just like damp leaves. It’s the best suit in the market. And I can’t recommend it’s features enough. It’s handmade, now linear pattern stitching. It’s super tough. It’s easily modified with its large mesh. It’s highly breathable. It’s colour changes with moisture. It has built in elastic straps to add foliage. It has oversized hood, hand covers, thumb straps and the trousers have belt loops so they won’t slip off when crawling. It’s double layered at elbows and knees for extra durability. It’s colours are extremely accurate without any modification. It all folds up on itself with a built in carry bag.

@@Akastaten In laymens terms! Don't craft up a suit that's to be compared to a KMCS that's not crafted and toned down. That's not showing purple the real difference in the 2 straight out the postage package. It's like comparing a sniper rifle to a full auto... So either craft them both or leave them alone until after you review! Fair comparison.

That last shot of the two hoods either side says it all. With the right work a £15 suit is better than a £200 suit. The main issue with the cheap suit is that it's base fabric will fall to pieces very quickly. That's what £200 buys you. Shame the colour isn't quite there, the green is even worse imo.

You should join us in the SniperWorks group on Facebook, we had a guy called Le Covert Sartorialist on last week who imo makes the best suits out there but with a very different take on a build, it's really interesting stuff.

Point6 the KMCS is Def the better suit. I bought the brown and green. The green is insanely good for here in Ireland. It’s colour replication is class. Check out my video brown vrs green. The material, the IRR, the leaf stitching, the accurate colours, the colour change when damp, the double layers at joints, the oversized hood, the built in loops, the hand/thumb hoop with extended covers, the mesh is big enough for cable ties: All make the kmcs a better suit in my opinion.

They are night and day different, still that last shot of the two hoods either side of you, for pure camouflage, excusing everything else, the cheap one is much better. Move 10m right that could change though. Camo is such a complicated beast!

sea syrup it reacts really well to water. It darkens way down and these lovely warm browns and reds pop out
