I'm glad you posted this. It actually shows what to realistically expect from colour removers. A lot of the time people think it'll just magically lift back to some kind of a blonde, but that's rarely the case. They also don't account for the potential damage it will inevitably cause to their hair. So I actually think this video was SUPER helpful and super informative. Thank you!

It's so strange how the wig turned out! I was there for the live and I can barely believe it's the same one even tho I know it is 👀 Color oops is the only remover I've ever used and it worked really well on black box dye 😉 Thank you for all the time and research you put into your content! 💞💞💞

I had 21 years of black box dye, so color oops was did nothing 😭 surprisly I tried 3 other diy methods and it just lifted slightly and then I grew it out, I now have lighter hair I don't know what is in black box dye but it's really really hard to get rid of 😢

I think this video was super helpful actually. I’m not always going to be using the “easy” colors to get out (purple, blue, green etc). Some times I do need to remove reds, pinks, and oranges from my hair and this video was perfecttttt for helping me decide which color remover to use for that. 🖤❤🖤

I really really appreciate videos like this, they make figuring out what to use to remove different colors sooooo much easier! And I really love how you give honest reviews/results even when you’re not happy with them or they’re not what you expected. That in and of itself is very educational and valuable. 😊

I'm way behi d on watching stuff, but I really appreciate you showing that not everything always works the way we want or expect! As an absolute amateur, it's easy for me to think I must have done something wrong. Watching someone whose experience I trust and admire also have disappointing results helps me realize that it's not user error, it's the product! You've always been honest with us and made a point of being real, so please don't think you failed us by showing us an imperfect result! It's hair, it's got a million variables; we all have results that are a little more mad science than we thought they'd be. Love you!

I think it's great that you posted it still! It's not a waste in my mind! Your average person honestly probably would have followed the instructions like this too, so I think it's a good example of how your average user is going to use the product. And since you have more experience and hair knowledge, you can explain what didn't work in this case. A "fail" is still valuable!

I LOVE the color fix one. My natural hair is a light brown/dark blonde so I use it all the way to my roots and don't have to bleach as often because it lightens enough for most bright colors.

@cesrelawrence-towner9453 I do that with the schwarzkopf (I don't know how it's spelt lmao 😂) and I do it when my blue is faded and my roots are coming through, then i pop more blue on and it brightens everything up and my roots go light so I can make it pop! 💙

ive gone magenta to help fade my violet into more pink-purple, i have absolutely no idea how this will fade but fingers crossed its better than blue🤞🏻 also have no idea how to lift it. i have at least 5 months of root because i shaved my head and decided it was too short to section, i'd rather risk the possible banding than overlapping bleach

I'm curious of comparing the bleach based colour removers to just straight up bleaching. Are they formulated milder to damage the hair less? What about compared to bleaching with 10 vol or doing a bleach bath? Colour removers tend to be rather pricy where I am, particularly for the size of the packets where you may need multiple to cover a whole head of hair, while I can get a bucket of lightener for a reasonable price. Am I overpaying for bleach that's just marketed as colour remover?

Question for anyone who sees this (hopefully soon) and wants to share advice. I had VIRGIN HAIR, down to my lower back. Had it professionally bleached and colored with Joico purple. She also melted some dark brown through it so it wasn’t all purple. Over top of that (even the brown parts) I have done Joico again, Arctic Fox, one other brand of semi permanent purple, and multiple washes with Punky Color depositing shampoo. I still have a fairly dark purple with a tiny bit of natural roots. Some parts are darker purple than others because of the brown spots my hair dresser originally did. It still looks magnificent but I want a change! What is the fastest way to get this color out and back to the bleached blonde my hair dresser did so I can tone it and leave it?! I only have an all day Saturday and half of a Sunday because of my work schedule. I don’t want to go back to work on a Monday with gross looking hair 😂 thanks in advance for any advice!

Would it make a difference if the dye was in the hair longer than a day? And also, wouldn’t heat be a factor because they’re bleach-based? Normally, the heat from the scalp would help it develop, right?
