Without having seen it's state before the revision, it has been fun watching the machine play the music, in particular Sade. Which amplifier are you using? Viele Grüsse aus Holland !!

Before the revision, the Play operation was distorted. Likewise the recording. One channel had completely failed. Here in this video I use an Akai UC A5 and W5 (preamp and amp).

Thanks for the video, Sade was a nice surprise :) I bought this unit to replace my Teac A2300SX. It plays recorded tapes from the Teac perfectly, but it needs repairs before it will record. The right channel distorts the input signal very badly.. was this a problem with your failed channel before the revision?
