Even though I have only collected five omnibus volumes of Dragonball, which makes it a total of 15 volumes that I have experienced and I wish I could collect more of that stuff. Akira Toriyama is still an influence to everyone that love Japanese Pop Culture and that manga-based anime was worth checking out, it even got me into this concept of Chinese mythology, which I think is worth checking out. You know I just realized something, if Hollywood really wanted to do a theatrical adaptation of Dragonball, I say it would work a lot better as a computer animated cartoon by Studio Disney than a live-action one (that to me just doesn’t seem to work).

sonic will always be my favorite one. knuckles' connection to the master emerald and chaos emeralds and how he lives on a floating island reminds me of piccolo's connection to the dragonballs amd the dragon and how he lives on the lookout. even though it might not have been done on purpose, the simularities are uncanny. lol

It’s the same word. It’s just removing the emphasis on that middle HA because it’s far less clunky to say it that way when just saying it casually. It still bugs me that even on the show they can’t seem to decide which way to say it outside of when actually performing the blast. YES! OF COURSE they should be saying it the way you’re describing when they’re actually doing the move mid fight. It’s almost like a chant or mantra that is used in order to help channel that kind of energy. But outside of that context, it sounds incredibly goofy when they’re just in casual conversation saying stuff like “ I almost had him with my Kame HAmeHA attack! 😖 “ rather it just sounds more fluid to be like “roshi taught us the Kamehameha Wave. It is done like so…” (assumes stances and THEN ups the emphasis on the Ha’s while showing the movements. As the entire pronunciation of it is slowed down to whatever speed they’re performing the attack in relation to how much charge they’re putting into it.) sorry that was a lot but if you look at it from a more grammatical as well as practical perspective it makes sense to not say it exactly the same way as when actually performing the attack
