Hey I still hope you continue this series, I was given this book by a teacher and it’s been so useful to hone in on specific skills.

Just finishing off this piece at the minute. Really informative, and you doubled down on some of the points my teacher has made. Love how you break things down section by section. Hopefully one day I'll be able to communicate my skills and information as clearly as this. Once I've done my exams I want to get into teaching. Keep up the good work!! 👊🏻🎹

Your tutorials on Burgmuller are very helpful. I am already looking forward to a tutorial on Burgmuller's "Ballade" (nr. 15). Thank you so much for your time and effort!

Thank you for these lessons, Bob. Please continue with them if at all possible--these are such great pieces to learn better phrasing and to serve as a launching pad for more difficult music (Schumann, Chopin, or even Burgmuller's op. 105/109). Liked and subscribed.

Hi, I know these video take a lot of work for not a lot of views, but they are so so helpful and I would love to see the series continue!!! I bet you'll get more views for number 7 which is more popular and quite confusing, I find....

Why did you stop the series? They are very helpful!
@AkiraIkegamiChannel11 ай бұрын
Thank you. I didn't stop it, but it wasn't getting as many views, so it hasn't been my biggest priority right now. But I would like t continue some day.

Merci. I've been trying to follow two progressive studies to try and improve my keyboard skills, Czerny Op. 599, and Burgmüller Op 100. I've reached about exercise 35 in Czerny, using bass notes and just starting to use sharps and flats. I'm playing the notes correctly, but it sure doesn't sound musical. I think I'll use Czerny to practice my sightreading and Burgmüller to practice my musicality.
@AkiraIkegamiChannel8 ай бұрын
That's basically how I use those books, but if you can be musical and have fun with Czerny, you've really mastered the art of piano (it's actually possible).

great videos! You really should continue with the series. There is no one on KZbin covering the full series . Other tutorials just play the pieces without commentary which is pointless as the books come with a QR code to listen to a sample performance

Thank you! I'm glad you find it useful. I didn't know about the QR code. What edition is that?
