It's funny how those works are for intermedia level in this days, and back in time there was considered for beginers, also is so ilogical the speed marks, they doesn't match with the indications, this piece for example says, allegro scherzado, and the metronome mark sounds like presto agitato.

What do you think about playing without the 'wrist circles' to support the movement? Personally I keep my hand and arm well relaxed and only move my finger even when playing fast 16th notes (while practicing Hanon for example, now I'm used to it) and I feel it more comfortable this way. Is it wrong? Should I practice this gentle wrist movement or can I keep playing with my technique?

If it is working for you, I don't think there is any need to change. But I'm not rotating my wrist to support fingers. My fingers are puling the wrists as a result of curving in to play each key. My wrists and arms are just not resisting it. In general, sound gets much smoother and more natural when fingers don't have to fight the rest of the body.

My teacher always hold my wrist down. I know it is important abt hand position but at some point, it makes my hand stiff and not enjoying playing piano bcs i am thinking too much abt hand. I think, when my wrist were curving, it was body ‘natural’ reaction to a more comfortable playing when playing certain notes. And also, if my fingers too curvy shape toward inside, my teacher kept reminding me. Pls let me know abt your thought abt this. I have been seen your tutorial and seems you are not as rigid as my teacher. You are also detail in explaining (I wish you were my teacher…i might love piano more)

Finger shape is very important, but as to your individual case, I really cannot comment on it unless I see how you are playing. If you are interested, I do online consultation. There is nothing wrong with slower speed. Each music has certain range of tempo where it sounds the best. As long as you are within that range, there is nothing wrong with choosing the slower side. In fact, I would rather listen to a clean, expressive music at a slower tempo than a fast but messy performance.
