Great lectures! A correction, on 5:40 you said hydrophobic, but meant hydrophilic.

Thank you for all of your videos. I really like your teaching style. Have you made any videos on lipoproteins? I didn't see any, but I may have over looked.
@AKLECTURES9 жыл бұрын
+Julia Black Thanks! Not in any detail. I think the only time I really talk about liproteins is when I did that lecture on absorption of fats in small instead (where I talk about chylomicrons). But thats about it! Sorry :(

Do you think a high fat diet promotes glycosphingolipids? do you think gangliosides, glycosphingolipids cause hair loss in males?
@ivanhovanjec57408 жыл бұрын
Hi :-) at first I would like to thank you for all this stuff :-) I have one question and I hope you wont mind answering. If insulin stimulates production of cholesterol, how people with diabetes deal with cholesterol after injecting insulin? Doesnt it cause any problems?
@datsit95835 жыл бұрын
Can u please make a vedio on cholesterol biosynthesis for Msc level

Do you have a website so that I can make a monthly contribution. I would like to have this on disc for listening while sleeping or driving. A mp3 would be great to.

I know it may not be part of curricula but can you please do a video in the near future on coacervates and abiogenesis? I figure since they're related to lipids that you could make this
@AKLECTURES9 жыл бұрын
Cognitive Philosophy To be honest, I am not very interested in abiogenesis and its not really related to the immediate topic that I am covering (which is lipids that we typically find within cell membranes). Perhaps sometime in the future.

I don't like the new term Glycosidic bond. Why not just call it polysaccharide bond ? That's what it is.
