LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO seeing this in my notifs made me 😁😁😁 during this time, chanhyuk was very inspired by jazz and lounge music! how people move came from the same album as re-bye and how people move has a lot of brass and almost sounds like swing music? but i could be wrong hhhhhh but around this time, chanhyuk loved more retro sounding songs around that era !!!

I believe others in the comments later will explain the storyline and concept of REBYE music video. I'll just share the bits about the song itself. REBYE is not a breakup song . Chanhyuk explained its never a love song but a song about 'getting used' to repeated separation to their friends. He wrote this to express his feelings of always leaving their friends behind. First, when AKMU were still elementary students and have to live in Mongolia, leaving their childhood friends. Then again, as they gotten close to their new friends in Mongolia, AKMU had to leave them behind for they have to go back in S. Korea. They've lived back and forth between South Korea and Mongolia during their childhood days before deciding to settle in South Korea after the audition. Getting used to another goodbyes and showing no feelings about separations even though it affects them. RE-BYE = GOODBYE AGAIN. R(al)E(ee)BYE(bi) = ALIBI (is why the mv is detective concept.
