In Budapest there were actually two cities, Buda and Pest Maybe you could give The different sides of the river the names Altengrad and a Former Name for the other side

Probably, this is my most beloved CS series on KZbin by me, im so glad every time it appears. Keep up the good work, Akruas! ;) But, also i wonder, do You have an idea, how those two parts of the city were connected before the bridge was built? I assume, yes, but i would like to see Your concept.

I wonder od there's going to be some kind of boulevard in the future, in bigger cities it is natural to build along rivers. Good examples are Rome, Warsaw, Prague, Lyon
@marsmensch2425 жыл бұрын
The street around the old town, the street to the train station and the main street within those new white buildings are already quiete big, they could easilly be expanded to some sort of Boulevard

I plan a bigger hospital near the large park/square, but in the 30's as I have a special building for it.

I think it would be super interesting to see some planned neighbourhoods (as in, straight streets in a grid pattern) with 19th century buildings right on the edge of where the older parts of town merge with newer, say, 1930s parts of town. As the newer bits would most definitely be planned (much like that 1920s housing estate you already built the previous time) it would be cool to see older-looking housing side by side with more modern structures further down a city block. Super great work, as always! Can’t wait for the new episode!

The church you build in this part is actually from my hometown. Johanniskirche in Magdeburg. It always makes me happy when I see people using it for their Cities: Skylines cities. In real life the church is also situated on a small hill next to a river. Unfortunately the entire neighborhood got bombed in WWII and was not rebuild so now there are no buildings in between the church and the river. But on historical fotos it kind of looks like in your town

when you eventually make it to the 1960's, please build a freeway right through the centre of the most beautiful part of town, and demolish large amounts of houses to make way for concrete blocks of apartments

What about a brothel neighborhood, like a red light? Maybe close to the river? I think it would add something "impure" of the city and would add realism (cities in 20’s, 30’s and 40’s would be full of brothels)

You should try to place the Apostel-Paulus-Church from Berlin! It's a neo-gothic brick church from 1895 and fits wonderful to these Berlin-Style buildings in the outer parts of the city center. There are some churches from this time period I guess...
