Everyone going "lol Mt. Corona" clearly hasn't played Mario Sunshine. :P That's what it's a reference to. Anyway, this fangame is accurate to the Undertoad comic. If you don't think it's accurate to Undertoad, that's because there's a lot of really shitty fanon that basically reduces the AU to a reskin of Undertale rather than a creative combination of Undertale elements mixed with the Mario RPGs and wider Mario franchise as a whole. It's really neat, and super underrated.

Wow, this fangame is great! You can tell a lot of detail went into referencing the source material, and all the gameplay elements seem fun! It's clear this isn't just Mario faces slapped on a Undertale engine, real effort and heart went into making this mix of Mario and Undertale a reality. And as a fan of both, I appreciate it a ton!

I like the twos on this. Sometimes it seems like Mario would he the one that's power crazy because of everything he does and how popular he is, and Luigi would be the ji d one who just wants to help, but I think it's that exact reason is done different. Luigi wants attention toon and power for being ignored, and Mario wants to stay humble because of what he does. So cool

@@SBtorms That’s true. Just my thoughts that’s all. I call it MarioTale not because Mario being a main character, it’s more because it has Mario Characters in it. My idea is that the story is similar to UnderTale. Except it’s Mobians (From the Sonic The Hedgehog Series) and Mushroom People. Mostly meaning Hedgehogs, as Humans also start with an H. I feel the Shroob invasion is cool but kinda a bit weird way to put the story if it’s supposed to be an Undertale Fangame, as it has a whole different setting than Undertale does. I do have another idea that I don’t believe hasn’t been made yet. Nintedarune. Basically Deltarune with Nintendo Characters. For example Isabelle is over Noelle, Captain Syrup is over Susie, the Shadow Queen is over Queen. Haven’t decided who would be over Kris and Ralsie. If you have a idea for them, tell me! 😊💖 So what do you think?

@@georgeshaw4017 okay, I'm gonna have to dissect this carefully 1) The Mario games (and hence the series) is named as such since Mario is usually the main character or protagonist. The AU being called Undertoad makes sense because, well, you play as a toad. 2) I'm sorta just confused why you brought Sonic stuff into the conversation, since it's a Mario thing, and the Hedgehogs = H = Humans is kinda weird reasoning ngl 3) the Shroob stuff is because of Partners in Time, and giving a bit of timeline to the story 4) I guess your thing is interesting, I don't fully understand it, but cool ig

@@georgeshaw4017 as an undertale fan since 2016, I don't want fan games to be too close to undertale anymore, it's an AU from undertale, that means to not make a whole new game but you aren't limited to do an "hehe look, undertale but this character is this character" look at Don't forget for example, it has an unique concept, clickertale, inverted fate (not a fangame but counts), ts!underswap, and this one, all those AUs wouldn't be some of the best (in my opinion) AUs if they were just "undertale but map, colors and characters change a lil :)" Undertale Yellow and Green are closer to the original undertale but that's cuz it isn't an au, more like "what happened to the yellow/green soul?" so I'll let them pass I really like that they didn't do the "2 sides, one doesn't like the other, now the other is underground, yay" but added Mario lore to it and made it more interesting than it would be Also sorry if there's any grammar mistakes, English isn't my first language
