Just ordered a pair of Lundhags to see what they are like. I think you have to get into their 2 sock method, but I thought I would give them a go to see if they are up to the hype. Health to wear with the Aku.

IMHO, coming from KS14 (who look remarkably like these boots (except the colors) - NBK with AKU stands for "new blister kit" ;) I can confirm your experience with the Meindls - got them in 45, 1,5half sizes too big, yet they are just not wide enough... Came to the conclusion that for my feet, the Lowa Elite Pro in 44 are the best shoes, i can walk for "miles and miles and miles and miles" and feel nothing at the feet, with all others - nothing but issues...

if they are anything like the swiss KW14 (AKU, look remarkably like these boots, only they were in green), in a few days, we gonna see Wooly walking on his hands, both feed in thick bandages and unusable for years, and he'll showing us his impressive curse-skills when describing the AKU ;)
