Redgarding the book specifically asked about, it is very comprehensive. Secret Ways contains all of his books, magazine articles, manuscripts, interviews & commentary and more. There was a special edition that also contained a cd with footage of Al Baker. If you’re an Al Baker die-hard fan, or a magic historian, it’s certainly nice to have. Depends on what you’re really after. Cost-wise for a hardback book it could be a no-brainer. You have his what 5 books, magazine articles, manuscripts, etc. that finding and purchasing separately if it can even be done could cost more than the book itself, let alone the additional commentary from Eugene Burger, Teller, Max Maven, John Carney, Todd Karr and Jay Marshall. Personally, I thinks it’s great, but I’m biased honestly. Any book from Todd Karr’s, The Miracle Factory that’s been published will be the complete & most comprehensive of its subject. Ask David about his Germain the Wizard just behind him to the left.
