@@DasJazzArchiv Yes Audacity is not the best. It doesn't account for high-end sound or have sophisticated algorithms to detect all the noise. I use RX Izotope Elements 10, to de-click the noise, but I don't have experience with any other software.

@@DasJazzArchiv The best help I've found about 78rpm playback are from Jonathan Holmes & Mark Atnip of "The 78rpm Channel".

Klingt recht gut! Was ist denn die „neue Methode“? Die Platte als Electrola ist sowieso klasse!

Vielen Dank! Ich nehme über das Audacity Programm in Stereo mit 96000Hz und 24Bit auf. Dann wende ich die sogenannte “Reverse RIAA” Kurve an für ein nicht so gedämpften Klang. Danach den Klickentferner, wechsle die Datei dann in Mono um und verwende ein Bassanhebungs EQ. Inspiriert von dem Video von Jonathan Holmes und Francis Gustavos Methode. Bin aber noch am experimentieren was mit geringen Mitteln klappt
