Hi Paul You don't need to open the roof lights. The cover is breathable and air circulates between the gap in the cover. Hope you get the jack points. Cheers Phil.🙂

Hi Paul have u looks under neath on side of the Also chasse there should be a blue plate there bolted on there as u said it looks like the jack been used I wouldn't open roof light as cover is breathable so u b ok what I think some people do is put there heating on to warm the van up and it the worst thing to do it could cause dampness good luck .kev

Good range of topics Paul! I only have a bottle jack as we do not have the Al-Ko fittings and, personally, I prefer to decide where to jack, if I ever have to... 🤷🏼‍♂️ 👍🏻 Good point on keeping the insurance company informed too - we’re having some work done on our ‘van next week, which will require a chat with our insurers... ✅ Hope your Al-Ko fittings arrive and are fitted without too much hassle! Shame about the jacking points, I always use a bottle jack as its more stable and easier to use. Caravan looks good inside Paul. Cheers Martin
