My dad Brought my mom and me to see him in Florida, it was my first concert, Al Martino signed an album for my Mom, my Dad passed a few years later (very young) to this day I have extremely fond memories of this concert and my Dad and Al looked so much alike.

I couldn’t agree more disco always lift my spirit and those violins send me straight to heaven. I will always be grateful I grew up in the 70’s there was some kind of magical powers in the air. It just felt magical, I didn’t know at the moment it wasn’t going to last but I had the chance to enjoyed it all...I still do. Disco forever !

I spoke to Al 10 years ago. The day I buried my mom & the day my beautiful daughter was born. Mixed emotions that day. Not much longer after that he passed away. A man of kind words on the happiest & saddest day. R.I.P Al!

The first time I heard this song, I must have been 8 or 9 years old. It was on a vinyl 33 rpm among other titles from the years 1975 - 1976. I've been looking for this version for a long time. Now I'm 45 and I still love it so much. Thank you for sharing.

An amazing and talented singer (Al Martino). His Volare rendition is among the best of them all. Although the song, audio and the theme in this video are excellent the quality of the pictures are not as excellent perhaps due to the technology of that time. JK Esq.

Great video and post Alison! Excellent quality, this was preserved extremely well! Not a big fan of the disco backing, but the voice (and views), pristine, and it is what it is. Curb is a legend in the business since the '60s. They didn't make a lot of promotional videos in those days, I assume this was for a tv special of some sort.
