Al Tasnady video tribute

A short video comprised of many photos of Al from many of the great photographers from the era of the fifties to the early seventies. Al was one of the best dirt track drivers to race in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York areas. He had many wins and championships in his career. The music was created and performed by Jim Young Race Songs.

Never got to see him race - New Jersey was a long way off for a kid in NC - but it seems like every picture I’ve ever seen of him, and there’s about a million of them, he’s got a big smile on his face and nicely dressed when he wasn’t in a fire suit! Must have been a class guy! A true legend! Did he lose his life racing? In any case, RIP Al! Your legend lives on!

Tom, Al was a real class act. Unfortunately he left us too soon from a bout with cancer at a young 58 years of age.
