hello guys it's my first time posting in this form and I would really need some assistant with a 2004 peugeut 2.0 407 with a AL4 Gearbox. So my AL4 transmission just recently developed a problem the transmission it has low line pressure (1.3-1.6)Bars in all rage (P,R,N,D,m1,m2,m3,m4) however if I started vehicle now line pressure will start at (2.6) bars and gradually decrease 1.3 bars within 30 second of start up and fluid level is correct, even if I press the accelerator pedal there is no change in line pressure. Things that I have noticed there is no change of this problem even if the vehicle is cold or at operating temperature same results (1.3-1.6)Bars. These are some of the things that I have done so far I have swap the pressure regulator solenoid to the torque converter lock-up solenoid and clean the valve body to see if their would be a difference in line pressure and there is still no difference still remain at (1.3-1.6)bars , I also change transmission filter and add new transmission fluid. what I would like to know if the transmission pump could be the cause of my problem

Hi guys am having issues with my Renault grand modus 2012 semi automatic. It drives fine on reverse, and first gear, buy slip back to 1st gear and change to 2 and above. Have changed the solenoids and fluid. Do i couldn't get all the oold dirty fluit completely out as the leve plug got worn. Help what could be the cause of the slip gear.

درود به شما امیدوارم همیشه سلامت و موفق باشید گیربوکس ماشین من دنده 1 تا 3 بدون تقه و عادی جا میره دنده 3 به 4 نمیره و گاز هرز میخوره انگار ماشین خلاص هست شهرمون هم کسی تعمیر نمیکنه بزرگواری کن جواب بده من چیکار کنم ایا مکانیک های ساده هم میتونن تعمیر کنن یا اینکه اصلا تعمیر میشه ببرم مرکز استان اوایل یه گاز کوچولو میخورد دنده 4 جا میرفت الان دیگه جا نمیره اگه ممکنه راهنمایی کن فدات عزیز

I have peugeot407 same al4. I have no reverse it slips when i put it in reverse and fluid level is good. Could it be the clutch disc worm out. Reverse use to work but i always notice a burning scent when i'm reverse up steep hill that smells like clutch. Any advice would be appreciated as I'm planning on buying a rebuild kit from ebay

i was able to fix by replacing the rear brake band and slipping was gone

Good day..can you help me in English please. My car PEUGEOT 307. The machanic change the gearbox (AL4). Now the car start when don't move forward when gear Put on drive or backward when gear on reverse. What could be the problem. Please please help. From South Africa

Mine was slipping badly... Changed the fluid... It continued to slip for around 100kms... Then it started to get better... Now with 200kms its way better but still gets into SERVICE mode on steep hills and something coming down a hill without any gas applied... Its weird idk... Any advice?

I watched this hoping to see where the filter is located in the gearbox I didn't see it. My renault megane auto gearbox has been giving me all signs of clogged filter.. I've removed the pan and the solenoids device I can't find no filter. Do AL4 DP0 have filters??

Hello, the filter under the front housing. It is connected to the pump

They are not really bad ... It's just needs maintenance
