There are two different dances involving sticks on this video. The first one that they were rehearsing is called Singkil, it's a dance from the Maranao people who live in the Southern part of the Philippines. The second one is called Tinikling, it's the one that they were dancing in the fields. It's also a popular folk dance in the Philippines and quite popular with Filipino American kids in the US. The guy who directed this is their Creative Director, Jason Paul Laxamana. He's directed a bunch of their music videos. He is also an award winning film director, if I'm not mistaken. Anyways, Alamat will be releasing a short film based on this sometime next week. I hope you can react to that one too. 🙏
