Great, informative video guys. For somebody who grew up in the Adirondacks, especially nice to see. You said "We think it's cool making these videos, does anybody else out there think this is cool?" A resounding YES! Love learning about new guitars, the differences between them, the history, etc. Thanks for doing this!!

Once again another awesome video guys. The 814ce AMC sounds great but I just got my 814ce last year and I love it. My bank account says be happy with what you have. But if something changes I'll be in touch. Lol

Great thanks and congrats, again, gents! And BTW belated balated thanks for the individual string sounds up front in the demos. And yes, the tonewoods video was awesome, a collectors item! Great gift to us, thank you!

Hi Chris and Cooper. You guys are such an insipration to us guitar players. Been considering to get a GP Taylor maybe a 414. The Adi is simply has that amazing tone. That blues run by Chris is so melodic, such a cool song.

I could definitely hear the difference. What was going through my mind is that the AMC model almost sounded more opened up, or like the EQ 'smile' was turned up a bit on both ends. Whatever it is, I like it! Great review, as always! Either guitar would be a welcome addition!

Wow! I enjoy comparing guitars, and other equipment, to see what a difference a single change makes, and that MacdAdironi (say that three times real fast) top is quite obvious. ( I hope the d-addie joke wasn't too obnoxious, but there it is, and as a Grand-Adi, I'm leaving to visit Bend and Breedlove and a 3 year old grand wild child shortly.) The premium for the Adi top and other touches is worthwhile, as is the added 1/16 nut width (1-3/4 total). I hope the Alamo Music Channel version is still available next week, or... European spruce, or redwood, or cedar or... Thanks for this education, Chris and Cooper, he is.

Very impressive! So how about a grand concert 14 and grand concert 12 fret with adirondack top and Adirondack braces? For those of us who like a smaller guitar. If this ever happens put me on your list. These smaller guitars could benefit from a little kick in the pants too. Another stellar video. Always learn something new from you guys.

Edited message: Having just discovered the excellent Fretboard Confessional Podcast, I had a question about Cooper’s amazing muted Rasgueado technique. I’ve just found the podcast where he explains how he suffered for his art. I’ll be checking out Rodrigo et Gabriela while my fingers heal. A massive thank you for the inspiring playing and stellar KZbin/Podcast, good sirs.

Can you give us more info about that podcast like where to find it? Would love to know more about Cooper’s background and his musical/guitar training experiences which brought him to the prodigious playing style we see on these Alamo Music videos.

Unless my eyes decieve me, it looks like a four-piece Adirondack top just like the builder's edition 814; Sounds great.

I have searched your store lately and haven’t been able to find. Taylor 324ce Builder’s Edition. Is it just listed or are you not selling it? Thanks.

LOL! I suspect the Adirondack top bracing was modified slightly. Even the bracing on the new 722ce and 722ce was modified for the tonewood. I really can sing with the Adirondack top. Maybe it's the lower tones. How does the Adirondack compare to Lutz? Thanks Cooper and Chris

Ok, so I def hear some dynamic differences in the adi and spruce tops….reckon is there ever a chance to see the adi top on a honey maple back and sides? I personally think the distinctiveness of both adi and maple will pair well for finger-style playing?!!

Will a left handed version be available with the adk top?

There is slightly more bass on the Adi but it has more tonal character compared to Sitka

Funny how you posted this video recently. I called your store 3 times trying to get a special Taylor 517 made for me, and I never got a return phone call. All I wanted was a 517 with a torrefied adirondack top, and all I got was crickets from you guys. Lost a potential customer here. Very disappointed....
