I have only discovered Alan @ a month ago, (Jan. 2020). Thanks to KZbin, I've caught up on alot and have also ordered 4 vids and this book.. There is something so mellow and likeable about him. Brit comedy beats our USA nonsense any day. Alan is right up there with Frye and Laurie, The Young Ones.,Ben.Elton, R. Atkinson - all for different reasons, of course. I am really happy to have found and finally enjoy his work. Sure, I am late to the party, but better than never having discovered him at all. Now to start the binge on the stand up comedy DVD's Bob & Rose" and then years & years of " J. Creek"and "QI" on Britbox. Thanks for the laughter Mr.Davies. The best to you, from a new uber, but harmless fan in L.A.
