I have come to realize that Mr. Jackson epitomizes the very essence of America at its best. He shows the real beauty that lies beneath all of the bluster we see on TV every day. His songs touch the heart and the soul of the country and what it truly represents. Never mind all of the other nonsense from politicians and other liars, crooks and bandits. Mr. Jackson sings from the heart, reminds us of our better angels and yes, brings a tears to our eye every now and then. For that, I am most grateful. Thank you Sir.

American people, you would be surprised how popular Alan Jackson is in certain areas, in RURAL FRANCE. Lot of french people in rural areas dream of America as a promised and beautiful land, and songs like the ones sung by Alan Jackson really evocate to us this spirit. So for truth, there are some farmers listening to american blue grass and country while doing the harvesting. Pretty neat, that gives a really american feel to our french countryside !

Once again when I heard this beautiful country song I literally stopped in my tracks and the tears started to fall. Alan Jackson wrote this and he did an amazing job on the lyrics and video. I have just had surgery again for cancer and when he wrote "where have you gone", I said that the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry is waiting for sweet country music to come home. It's beautiful lyrics like this that the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry are wanting Alan to stand in the wooden circle and play for the audience. Alan Jackson is the real deal. I grew up on country and bluegrass music and my Dad gave me a 6 string guitar and taught me how to play. Blue ridge mountain song is a beautiful sweet bluegrass that makes my heart full of fight that gives me a reason to dig deeper and fight harder to beat this thing. Alan, as a cancer patient I thank you for this beautiful country / bluegrass song. Hearing the mandolin and banjo's , and fiddle, thank you. You are an amazing person who has kept country , country.

Actually his more recent studio stuff, including this song includes heavier pitch correction. I work with the software, am familiar with it and can hear the subtle corrections. That doesn't take anything away from his ability to produce some of the best country music ever. 99% of studio created tracks in any genre these days are riddled with pitch correction and have been for nearly 2 decades. Even before then there were other ways to correct pitch. Many live performances of artists in all genres including country now have automatic pitch correction software or hardware so even live performances are autotuned too. Sorry to burst your bubble. :-) He is still my favorite though.

BEAUTIFUL. We used to go up to Skiline Drive, when we were kids. Those apples, were so sweet and good. It would be a blessing to live in the beauty of the mountains. That would be a great place for a honeymoon, if you are married. My Mama and Daddy spent their honeymoon, in Charlottesville, almost 62 years ago. GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS

This is the most beautiful song. I've listened to it about a hundred times and it still gets to me. He brings their love out in a way that just escapes words. It's sad but hopeful and beautiful and somewhat dreamlike. 😊😊😊 Sing a little blue ridge mountain song 🎶💗🎸

I feel like this song should come with a warning! I am pregnant and love me some Allen Jackson, so when I saw this song (which I hadn't heard yet) I decided to give it a listen. Now I'm crying uncontrollably because my pregnancy hormones can't handle how sad this song is! But seriously, all joking aside, this song is beautiful.

Nice job Alan. I am a fan of Blue grass music and you because you always stayed true to your roots as a country singer/songwriter. You didn't go pop on us like others have. I wish Brad Paisley would make a blue grass album. It would be great like Alan's album.

@@alanjackson3407 I will never be able to stop listening to your music as you are very good and awesome and number 1 in my eyes and even over groups that sing together. I live your music and your style. I can tell your music comes from your heart and every song has meaning to it. I know your family is very proud of you as well as your parents looking over you as well. Do you know the song On Eagles Wings? That is a very good gospel song. If so could you please play it? There is others I like but your music always comes first. You have been introduced as the tall Georgia boy and am curious how tall that is? I want to wish you and your family a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR.
