First time I've seen this video and remember the time he managed Palace and Mullery in my opinion never received the credit he deserved as the club was in administration the playing staff had being cut to a minimum and with a seriously long injury list not surprisingly deep in a relegation battle only avoiding the drop to Div 3 due with a last game of the season victory over Burnley, so Alan Mullery has my gratitude and admiration for navigating Palace through that season and a serious crisis in the clubs history.

@@bigtwit799 Well prior to the Venables/Mullery era, both Clubs were unsucessful lower-division sides. Palace had one freak season in the top flight a few years earlier but prior to that they were on a par with Brentford and Orient as an also-ran in London.... and Brighton weren't even that? It's a funny, contrived sort-of rivalry but both sets of fans enjoy it and, as they create no interest from any of their other neighbours, good luck to them

This is the worst derby in football It’s like Arsenal and Ipswich calling a game between them a derby, their nowhere near each other. No reason at all to call any game between them a derby.
