TBH I think it would be kind of difficult because you have to imagine where you're hitting or where you're being hit by the spell. Honestly my imaginations for s*** so I would probably be really horrible at it. Director: when the wand goes in this direction you do this. Me: Alright got it. Also me: **does something completely different.**

I think it was just the idea of tough, strong, abrasive Professor Snape saying "Ouch" that had people giggling. It's a word not nearly snarky enough for his daily vocabulary. Ah, well, that's life. I hope Alan didn't mess up his hand too badly from that. Probably had 1 heck of a bruise, though, & needed some ice for it later.

The adult actors in the Harry Potter movies are such amazing actors, but without the special effects, this scene just looks silly and even a little bit awkward :p Also, dang dude, Rickman hitting the camera sounded like it had to hurt A LOT, but he kept his cool and everyone just giggled about it. in that fighting scene in the great hall snape lowers his wand for a moment when mcgonagall steps in front of harry because he knows that scene... he was not there but that is exactly why the love of his life died so that literally disarms him for a moment.. that is as I like to see it :)
