The love of his life died and the next day he had a task to accomplish just for her memory, he couldn't even move on or consider to have a normal life cause everyone around him could be in danger, he had the worst reputation, everyone hated him and even when facing death he was desperate to show Harry his story, not to be saved or defend himself, all he wanted was to be understood at least in the very end and by the only person he always cared who happens to be the son of the woman he loved until his last breath. Severus will always hurt but how people misunderstood him cause he was fighting against (and failing) to project his childhood bullying trauma onto the sons of those who hurted HIM the most will also hurt forever.

I find it funny that Bellatrix and Narcissa didn’t catch to what Snape actually meant… “I’ve played my part well- so well that I have deceived one of the greatest wizards of all time.” And then followed up with “Dumbledore is a GREAT wizard.” The way he phrased it made it seem like he was talking about deceiving Dumbledore, but he was actually talking about Voldermort. They heard what he said, but weren’t really listening. Only Snape would give them that kind of clue and it go right over their heads 😂

I loved Snape since book one. I knew there was some twist coming that he was a good guy, but when deathly hallows 2 dropped I was blown away by just how badass he was. He was the single MOST vital person behind Voldemorts demise... When the movies came out with Alan Rickman it was fabulous, as I always imagined Snape exactly like his persona. If Jesus could pass a message I would just like to say RIP Big guy, thank you for 30 years of my life enjoying your one of a kind acting style, tone, mannerisms, throughout the most impressive range of genres you mastered. I would've loved to see a duel between Voldemort and Snape with the Elder Wand. If I remember correctly, in the 6th book Snape conjured of a fire wheel when escaping Hogwarts. He was very knowledgeable about both magic and Voldemort. However, I believe he would've still lost the duel if he was alone. His greatest chance of defeating Voldemort would've been in bringing allies.

Along with Snape they are my favourite characters from this universe. I'd be glad if you could post such videos, though I don't mind when or even if you post nothing at all.
