Funnily enough I was watching a Men's Health video yesterday of him and his routine. He's surprisingly honest about both diet and strength. He did say he mostly does arms and torso bc aesthetics for the role and even though he says he tries his best, he also admitted to doing what he can and not going gung ho on weight. He does put the work nonetheless. Very honest, very respectable.

Thad Castle was an absolute unit, and him during Reacher makes Thad look small in comparison. And let me be clear I don't care, it doesn't diminish his hard work in the gym at all imo, he has great genetics also and he puts in the work in the gym. I don't know why people always bring up him juicing, he's an actor they all do it, why does it matter? But he also seems like a chill enough guy to be honest about it as well. I juiced for years myself, good for him though, I'm sure he is doing it with a doctor, so at least he is doing it as healthy as possible

Almost everyone gets nervous (except psychopaths and sociopaths). Even models, actors, and athletes. Don’t think that just because they’re in front of large crowds all the time that they don’t get nervous. I used to model and every time I got ready to hit the runway my heart was thumping in my chest. Then, after the first walk, you’re usually fine. But it happens all the time. It’s just part of being human.

Yeah, I just wish he would be honest about his use of gear. He’s clearly enhanced, everyone that’s ever done it knows the signs, he’s not natural. It’s fine, it’s his body he can do what he wants with it, but lying about not taking gear and pretending he’s a natural lifter Isn’t very down to earth. Especially for a man who profess to be a Christian, lying is rather Unseamly. And I don’t know who he thinks he is fooling. I really don’t. I guess people who don’t know anything about steroids, hormones, etc. Because anyone who has any experience whatsoever with natural bodybuilding or enhanced bodybuilding knows he’s 100% enhanced.

6'5" is ridiculously tall for a movie character. Usually in movies they like a pretty medium sized actor, that way he can appear tall and heroic, but then they can make villains who are taller and give us the David vs Goliath effect. We automatically root for the underdog.
