I read Tehillim the last few days. Within the first few pages, I started noticing how important The Name of YHWH was to David (and the subsequent writers). I felt prompted to highlight every time something was mentioned about His Name, or The Name (not actually YHWH). I came out to around 93 times (give or take, I may have missed some) in the book of Tehillim where the writers were talking about either blessing The Name, or crying out to YHWH to act on their behalf to bring esteem to His Name, or praising His Name. I then sat in church on Sunday as we sang songs to 'God', and songs about how the name of Jesus is the name above all names (which is still confusing to me). Church is beginning to feel so empty and powerless to me. I don't want to judge the hearts of others, but at the same time, it feels like such a waste of time to gather on Sunday. I am at a crossroads, my friends. I know if I bring up anything that goes against the religious dogma that so many find themselves in, I will be at best dismissed, or worse pushed away. My wife and children love the church, and the people there are all really nice. I am tired of wasting time in the things of the flesh and the doctrines of men. I want to walk with YHWH and learn to listen to His direction. I am growing more weary of this worldly system and all the things I do every day to participate in it and provide a good life for my family. I also feel like there has been an increased level of strife in my family the last few weeks. Your prayers would be appreciated.

One of many scriptures is exodus 15:17-18, where 3 times this is used. I'm not seeing this in the new testament. Thanks for helping me understand this. I also have an interlinear app in my phone that renders the same scripture as yod hey waw hey and translates as LORD and Yah-weh. How can I be certain that I have the correct aramaic hebrew to learn from?

alan, long time listener, first time writer. I have a question about the interlinear trans ( aent) that you recomended a few years ago by David Bauscher. I see repeatedly an aramaic word spelled mem resh yod aleph, and being translated to lord jehovah. i've heard you speak about the word jehovah on your videos. Looking up the word mem resh yod aleph , does not have a good definition either . Could you please expound on this spelling/translation ?

Allen, would it be wrong or maybe out of line by saying "I am possessed by Jesus Christ"? isn't it very similar to what takes place in demon possession? asking or somehow tricked into giving the spirit (Holy Ghost/demond) permission to come into you taking control of you or doing his will not your own?

"Jesus Christ?" Oh, yeah ... you mean Yuhshua. Yuhshua does NOT possess anyone because everyone has free will. To be "possessed" is to be without your free will. So ... yes: It's wrong and it's out of line to say you are possessed by our Mashiach.

Allen, I think maybe they are blowing the bible thing out of proportion, but liberals do come at you from behind. If they can sneak in a law that could be used to ban the bible, they will.

I agree, roger, that while the bill doesn't ban the Bible or even mention it, the idea of banning books offensive to that group (I don't name it because KZbin scans and censors) is a hop, skip, and a jump to the Bible and a foreshadowing of persecution to come. At the same time, I wish those who are saying that CA is "about to ban the Bible" would be far more judicious. A big and continuous *thank you* to Alan for being exceedingly careful to only report the facts as they are knowable.

Shalom, Mark. As the Ruach leads is how questions make the cut. I put all the questions on the list and pray over it and expect that this one or that one will be asked, and suddenly I realize the Ruach took the livestream in a direction I didn't expect and we got to the ones I didn't think when the "Live" light went on we'd get to. So, it's not a matter of making our cut, but Abba, Father's, as He knows what the sheep at large need to hear and has the message all planned (and we don't!). I have no idea what He'll direct us to cover, therefore, but I *do* have answers in the form of videos Alan's already done here for you. 1. This WILL come up in the livestream (I have already received confirmation from the Ruach), but you're internalizing a responsibility for others' beliefs - in this case regarding Paul/Sha'ul - that is Abba, Father's alone to bear. You can't *get people* to understand nothin' any more than you can get yourself to understand anything of the Father. If they are rejecting Sha'ul, they are rejecting the Father's Word. Period. You can't offer the "perfect" argument to turn them around because they aren't *listening* through all the worldly (usually religious) wax in their ears. Thx for the follow-up! The link you shared is great, but I'm going to have to listen to it a couple more times (at least) to get it all. Actually, I would prefer to read, because my mind wanders when listening. "Wandering" isn't really the word. Like an old pastor said once, "I'm not a very good listener to sermons. When the guy behind the pulpit is 20 minutes into his sermon, I'm 10 minutes into mine." :-) My internet has been crabby, and livestreams tend to be frustrating "skipstreams."
