Alan Wake 2 Is Saga Anderson's Game

Cool channel, well made videos. Recently the played the game and this is interesting to watch. Also Remedy is scarily good at making complete pieces of art.

my major gripe with the dark place portion of the game is it feels very disconnected and somewhat boring. in saga's segment the plot is much more intense because the real world stakes are right in front of the player. The saga segments of the game feature a variety of unique characters which keeps it engaging while the majority of alans portions are 'solitary' with the occasional appearance of alex casey or mr door or the cop. i kept finding myself wanting to get through alans segments as quickly as possible just because i wanted to continue what was happening in bright falls. visually the dark place is stunning and the idea they went for was unique but i believe they should've shortened the dark place playable areas significantly. i really disliked how the dark place's enemies work because it was just annoying getting jumped by shadows when im just trying to get by. the dark place portions of the game have their moments with the most notable being the musical number but overall it really dampened my enjoyment of the game

Absolutely - I really wanted to love the dark place stuff, but I definitely wanted to spend more time with the Saga sections!!

So why call the game Alan Wake then????
