That's not ultra performance and you know it. The game started at a base framerate of 40+, which is double that of Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk ran at ~100 frame gen'd FPS with an upscale of 1080p -> 2160p. No way this is a 720p upscale with these numbers.

my brother in christ this game is using FULL PATH TRACING. 60fps native real-time path tracing is just not here yet. This is the cutting edge for graphics tech idk what you were expecting

IMO it is worth to play Control even before the main Alan wake 2 campaign, this game filled with references that go back to max payne 1 from 2001

Nvidia doing low quality with expensive RTX4090 not enough power even the GPU made for 8K gaming but can't do 4K at 60fps unless use DLSS, what a joke. 👎🏻

without RT, this game gets a TERRIBLE ghosting around the character, has to use fsr instead

Yeah I always wondered why this game was worse than others hmm. Best thing I've been able to do was use Preset E with DLSStweaks or set it manually with Nvidia Profile inspector. Also OptiScaler let's you change Presets as well while in-game which is cool.

100+ FPS in a fully raytraced game? That must be with a 4090 card? How well does it perform on a 4070? Which is what most people can afford, and even then its still expensive.

I played an hour this morning on a 1440p monitor on a 4070ti non-super with RT on High, DLSS Quality, FG off. Inside the facility I was getting 70-90fps depending on the area.

@@kaylee42900 I have a 4070ti, with Rt on path tracing, dlss on performance and frame generation on, I can play the game at sustained 70/90fps, cero stuttering, the forest area being the most demanding

My 4070 was getting 60 fps at DLAA on my 1080p screen with full path tracing and all settings maxed out, except in heavy forest areas which are extremely heavy. With DLSS you could probably achieve quite a bit more and framegen is an option if you don't mind slightly more latency

i played with a 4090 4k ultra rt dlss Q and framegen on. getting around 75 80 90 fps. MAYBE they used dlss performance like the manual guides, when using dlss perf YEAH WE GOT AAAAA LOOOOOOOT OF FRAMES

7900 XTX: 1440p, Medium-High Raster, RT all Low/Enabled options: FSR 3.1 Quality modded in, FSR3 Frame Gen + Lossless Scaling Frame Gen x2, Anti-Lag 2 modded in = 120+ fps in forest, closer to 200 in Bright Falls.

The fact that they choose to ignore FSR 3.1 on purpose, in both this and Cyberpunk... Nvidia, Remedy and CDPR should all be ashamed. After all the fuss they made about Jedi Survivor not releasing with DLSS 3, which got added few weeks after that...

Hmm im wondering if swapping the nvngx_dlss.dll file can cause DLSS ghosting? Im using preset E (Or F i forgot which one now) set on Performance running in 4k on a 3060 xc (12gb) and its great. Besides the ghosting, most noticeably while wearing the Red rain jacket when playing as Saga.

This game with full RT is only playable with 4080 and 4090, I'm with the 3080 and the frame rate plummets even with the RT low....

Check your cables. I was getting a lot of flickering in final fantasy 16 on ultra and only on that game. Turned out my dvi cable was causing it because after I changed it, the flickering stopped. Switched back to the old one and it was back

Nvidia I bought a 4060 ti with 8gb of VRAM but I can't use Ray tracing because the VRAM crashes when I activate it and the system uses my RAM, which is why the game stutters a lot. Could I request a refund from you so I can get the 16gb VRAM version? I would really appreciate it.

Just spend the same cash on PS5pro and a decent 4k TV instead of wasting money on a GPU that cost an arm or a leg. Atleast you know the devs will optimize the game properly for it instead of sitting at your desk like a tool trying to mess with setting on your mid GPU just for it to run OK at 1080p.

We need 8090 dlss 5.0 for stable 60fps in 4K. Game today. Thanks to your technology you have completely ruined game optimization and now we are forced to play on fake image and fps.. 2020: 2080 Ti 4k 50-60FPS native resolution 2024: 4080 4K 60-80 DLSS... 👌🤮

graphics do not matter, you can play in a playstation at 60fps in performance mode or native perfectly fine at 30fps, which is what you are looking for apparently
