Actually, I do recommend carrying them . I have carried the 36" master key for years in my van . They have made me many times the cost of purchase . Its amazing how great full some people are when I show up .

lol i have a 2015 2l mk5 and the cranking comes from the front and only in the heat (32 c degrees and up)during the day I came to your channel to see if you already did a vid about it. Greatest mechanics show though , plus it’s for mondeos !

thats the best thing to do is to clean all threads before undoing ther nuts how many people i have seen just trying to take the nut off without doing it I have even taught my son in law to do it and he has a 2015 mondeo in cheery red the only thing that happened to his was the suspension leg top nut kept coming undone thanks for the video

I had some sealed ball joints that sounded just like that. Luckily they sat with the ball at the bottom. Injected some gear oil thru the boot and their quiet as a church mouse now. You sir are a slightly odd duck!

Did you check tedgum for that bush ? They have an online catalogue and make a lot of obscure bushes and repair kits . I got alfa 159 sway bar bushes from them .

not sure if you can get the solenoid separate ..the starter motor is expensive unless you find someone to repair it

1988 Mini - The college days - Went from one building to another, stopped the engine but it kept running, starter motor got stuck and kept the engine running. Had to disconnect battery to stop it. 1990 Escort Van painted BT Yellow to blend in, hahahaha. By now I had tools and the hammer came in very handy at night as the starter motor use to get stuck and engine wouldn't turn over - well it did with a little twatin' from the hammer. I do like to 1/2" Snap-on Breaker Bar. Nothing better than a good breaker bar at times. Bit of a long shot posting this here but i have a mk5 mondeo with 64k miles, the gearbox has a rattle to it when idle and in netral, if i pull the gearstick towards forth the rattle gets much louder, any ideas from anyone here?

I would hope not at 64k.....mine is a 2016 and on 111k and no rattles from anything. I had a fiesta about 20 years ago that did something like that from new.....took two Ford dealers to tell me they couldn't find it, the third (rates) found it needed a new gear linkage....
