25:13 I love this chase scene with the 3 girls and then Brandy alone. It’s so intense and dramatic with the music and thunderstorms and panic. I can kinda understand Brandy’s actions during this chase because she just saw her boyfriend get brutally murdered in front of her. She is in a bit of shock and had to start running immediately. So her stumbling, being clumsy, and turning around makes sense. But one thing she won’t do is let GLASS kill her lol My girl Brandy jumped fell and leaped through glass like they were clouds to get away from that hook!!! 😅😅😂😂

Everyone was up in my theater screaming “Run Brandy god dammit Get UP!!!” Lmao!! That sucks. I had a chimney fire on Christmas morning of ‘96 & the fire dept ended up ripping a good part of the front of the house off to extinguish the flames (which happened to be burning right underneath my bed on the second floor!). The landlord covered the front of the house with plastic & me & my roommates froze our asses off all winter. Not to mention the gigantic heating bills! For 20 years, I couldn’t even smell woodsmoke without thinking about that house & all my ruined shit. I hope you get back on your feet quickly & I’m so glad you weren’t hurt in the fire! So excited you decided to react to this! I wish Sarah Michelle Gellar’s character had made it to the sequel, but Brandy was a great replacement. I was a huge fan of both at the time. Also I love that you couldn’t help mentioning Sidney Prescott during this reaction. Julie was good, but Sidney is in a class of her own. Edit: Just wanted to suggest Stepford Wives (1975 not the 2004) as a possible movie to react to in the future. I rewatched it recently and it definitely holds up imo.

I love SMG and Ryan Philippe so I love the first movie but this one I have to admit is more entertaining to me. Jack Black's character aside, I unabashedly love this sequel. It's fun, it's got a zippy pace, Brandy is even more appealing than Jen as a Final Girl, the score is pretty cool with those weird screams that punctuate the action like musical stingers and the entire plot twist hinges, hilariously, on the fact that American audiences (letssssss be honest, myself included) are shit at geography.

The hotel desk guy is in 80's cult classic horror (a little comedy) Reanimator. You have to see it.

recommendation for you and everyone here: SUPER 8 (2011)!!!!! I have loved this movie since I was 10 years old (when it came out lol) and this is probably one of my top rewatch movies ever. I never get sick of it but never see any talk about it. Amazing directing (Abrams & Spielberg), acting, storyline, score/soundtrack. Still cry every time I watch, which I’m about to do again now!
