This was my favorite song on the album. I worked security for this event. I felt like she sang it just for me. Lol. Dope

Her best song ever. I was 15 when i listen this daily. Today i heard Forgiven on Spotify....omg...after all these years, i still know every word of this song, with the same energy when i was 15.❤

The Woodstock '99 scene has been characterized as "mayhem." Hours after this, people would be setting the place on fire!

*_LYRICS_* You know how us Catholic girls can be We make up for so much time, a little too late I never forgot it, confusing as it was No fun with no guilt feelings The sinners, the saviors, the loverless priests I'll see you next Sunday We all had our reasons to be there We all had a thing or two to learn We all needed something to cling to So we did I sang Alleluia in the choir (Alleluia) I confessed my darkest deeds to an envious man My brothers, they never went blind for what they did But I may as well have In the name of the Father, the Skeptic and the Son I had one more stupid question We all had our reasons to be there We all had a thing or two to learn We all needed something to cling to So we did What I learned, I rejected, but I believe again I will suffer the consequence of this inquisition If I jump in this fountain, will I be forgiven? We all had our reasons to be there We all had a thing or two to learn We all needed something to cling to So we did We all had delusions in our heads We all had our minds made up for us We had to believe in something So we did We all had our reasons to be there We all had a thing to learn We all needed something to cling to So we did So we did Ooh-ooh, I, I, I So we did

From what I remember, for a couple of years in the late 90s it was kind of a "thing" to interact with shows by throwing things onto the stage. I watched WCW wrestling then and they encouraged it, fans threw drinks and things at the bad guys on TV all the time, and some of that behavior crossed over into concerts as well. At some point the musicians and security had enough and cracked down on it, kicking people out if they throw stuff, and the trend disappeared.
