Perfect Day Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Bahamas there is such much to see and do at Perfect Day Cococay! Let’s explore the entire Cococay Island to see what to do and how to spend the day in CocoCay!
There are 7 different waterslides to conquer on Daredevil’s tower! Daredevils tower is located inside thrill water park within the new Coco Cay. Admission is paid for Thrill waterpark, full day pass or half day pass. You can buy tickets to the waterpark prior to your cruise through Royal Caribbean’s cruise planner or at the shore excursion desk on the ship or day of based on availability.
The other slides are Dueling Demons, Green Mamba, Screeching Serpent, and Manta Racers! The minimum height requirement for all Daredevil’s tower water slides is 48’. Hold on for a ride that is an amazing thrill! Make sure to check out Splash Summit, the other three water slides that are tube and mat racers within Thrill Water park.
Don’t feel like hitting up the water park, no problem. We explore and show you the entire island inside and outside of the waterpark right from where you get off of the ship! Exploring everything from the lockers, to the Up, Up and Away Hot air balloon, Wave pool, Oasis lagoon, Chill beach, South Beach, Coco Cay Excursions, where to eat on Cococay and so much more! Coco Cay really does offer something for everyone in the family so the only thing that is hard is to decide what to do first!

Went to Coco Cay on my honeymoon in 1991. Back then RC had just bought the Island. WOW has it changed. Only thing to do back then was hang out on the white sand beaches which was fantastic.

How long were you in port because it seems like you hit every area? Did you walk everywhere (and get tired), or did you ride the tram sometimes? Thank you so much for the kind words! I literally was very busy the entire time I was there covering all areas of the island. I did ride the tram once to south beach. We were in port until 7 p.m. so we had a good amount of time there, you can definitely do some fun exploring! If you are up for an adventure of exploring be on the look out for the peacocks that hang out behind the helium balloon and in the shrubbery between South beach!

Snack shack is included but you can only access it if you bought a thrill water park pass. If you dont buy a ticket the food at the other options are comparable. I thought the food overall on the island was fantastic! 😀 thanks for watching!

No there wasn't. I was actually expecting them to be paid, since the map indicates a dollar sign but once you get to them they were just available for all. So I expect to pay next time I go. Wish they would stay free that would be great.

We were there last November, the whole water park was behind construction fencing, not a single water slide was up and the departure dock was only half done, I would have bet they would have never had it ready by May, they must have really shifted in to high gear after the first of the year.

Yes they had a couple djs by the oasis pool and they had the beach party on the island schedule, I just didn't get a chance to make it over there and see it! Too much fun and thrills to be had! Can't do it all, must make it back to try that! Is it a lot dancing? 💃🎶

We just booked yesterday the Navigator of the Seas for August 9th, 2019. We went to CoCo Cay twice last year and it's amazing to see the change even since December 2018. Since our kids will want to do the waterpark, I was interested in the cabanas that included the waterpark pass. Do you have any info/photos of it and where they are located.

Yes, there is a charge for the balloon ride. It varies per sailing - I got it for $31 for my Navigator sailing next Dec, but it's about $63 for my Symphony sailing next Feb.

Yes they do have snorkeling. There is a sunken airplane off of the beach as well. I haven't done it but I hear the snorkeling is pretty good with lots of fish!

Valerie Singer it is very similar to KTTW, also, they do provide towels on the ship, and have towel swapping stations along the island.

Cameron it can vary depending on how many ships are in port that day! But I noticed if you go late in the afternoon the slides tend to get very slow some even had no line at all, with families heading back onto the ship to get ready for dinner.

The price of the waterpark varies depending on the date of you sailing. It can range from $45-99. There is complementary food inside the waterpark and outside out it. Captain jack's is complimentary but the beverages are paid. Hope that helps!

They allowed drones during my visit, they had RC press and media getting those shots. That is where the drone shots came from.

I was just there last week. Royal offers a free buffet from 11:30-3:30. If you have the alcohol package all drinks are also free throughout the island.

It does not look like there were many people there when you made your video. The menus at the food stops you showed seem to not have the BBQ that we always look forward to on Coco Cay and Labadee. I hope that is still available.

Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing! I still don't think I'll ever understand the mispronunciation of "Cay" as "kay" when it's pronounced "key"... Why Royal did that, no idea. Also, if you care, the band at the beginning is a Junkanoo band, not Calypso. It's a rather big distinction in the Bahamas :) Can't wait to visit on our upcoming cruise. They really finished it fast!

Also, I think a lot of people are worried about multiple ships, but the island looks empty with just yours there. Looks like it could handle multiple ships without diminishing the quality of the experience.

You can, but keep in mind its sand everywhere and strollers normally don't play well with sand. You could always just find some loungers (covered of course) and enjoy with the kiddos..

Depends on what you want to do but the water park is $45-99 depending on your sailing and other excursions are $50-200 also depending on the activity. Once you are booked the cruise planner will have all the prices for your sailing.

The prices range depending on your sailing and season, roughly $39-99 for the tickets, or it's possible to catch it on a sale they are running to.
