This has got to be my favourite type of gym judging by the tour! You can tell Alan really put a lot of thought into it and cares about the members by little stuff like attaching warm up bands to the wall and 9ft Monster Rogue racks for the taller athletes. This imo is the best gym ever and I hope to workout there one day soon. So many cool pieces of equipment to try. Almost no strongman gyms around my area which is sad.

I am not a powerlifter nor a strongman lifter but I just watched a 24 minute video on a gym tour. Great evolution of the gym over the years Alan. I've been watching you for a a few years now. Your weight loss and drive to continue to powerlift has been a huge inspiration (even though I am not a powerlifter). Keep up the good work.

I don't have any EliteFTS racks and such as of yet, mine in my garage is a Rogue RML-390 with quit a few of the accessories, but I got the American Press Bar, SS Yoke Bar and the Rackable EZ Curl bar from EliteFTS last year and they are all very good. The first two especially. I finally got my Yoke Bar padding broken in a few months ago and that along with the handle accessory for the rack have kinda been a game changer.

Hopefully you see my comment but Alan I’ve kept up with your videos for years and it’s incredible how far you’ve come with just a small space with 2 power cages and tires and now a huge mf space. Can’t wait to see how far you go. Because of you, you inspired to me open up a gym one day to show a variety of training where I live. (Strongman, powerlifting, strength training, etc.) Keep it up man super proud. One day I’ll take a visit up there. Extremely grateful to live in a time where you exist.

What an incredible gym. I've been watching for a while and I've gone back and forth on working out. I lived in California and I was actually planning on taking a trip up to the gym, but then I got injured. Now i'm in Japan.. Atlas stones. I was always scared of those. I see people dropping those things and I imagine them dropping them on their toes and it scares me.

Everything is either EliteFTS, Rouge or homemade. This is my dream gym, because everything is purposeful. When you walk into this gym, you're there to train. None of that wasting 2 hours walking on a treadmill, or talking on your phone. As I see so many doing at my local LA fitness.

The only gym like that were I live is unbelievably expensive. The best part is they don't allow any nonsense like taking up a squat rack to curl and deadlifts can only be done on the platforms

Small gyms usually have to be expensive because they don't have the room for thousands of members. Fewer members = more expensive memberships. Also, nice equipment is expensive to purchase and replace. Also also, people who pay a lot for a gym membership usually use and respect the gym.

If I lived in Sacramento, I would join right away. The gym I go to only has a small free weight area that only two people can comfortably train at a time. But it's a convenient distance from where I live.

Zach Telander asked his fans to name their favorite lifts. To be a shit I said Mark Rippetoe's 500lbs deadlift and Rampage Jackson picking guys up who try to armbar or triangle him. The thing is, the more I think about it, Rampage Jackson picking guys up and spiking them is an amazing act of strength and power, and in all fact is a lift. It's absolutely one of my favorites. I guess I think that Rampage Jackson's feats of strength should get some play in the strong Man world. Definitely inspired me.
