This is the first time I have listened to one of Sadam Hussein's daughters. She is amazing in her answers and well spoken. I wish her and her family peace, cause the memories will remain.

She is as delusional and most likely psychotic as her father. She said that a large minority weren’t free. And earlier in the interview she stated that people were dealt with harshly. I don’t know why the sons were killed and she lived. Additionally, speaking like an exiled royal towards the end of the interview, while stating a “normal childhood” earlier in the interview, is another example of the thought bubble she has in her mind. The expansionist ambitions, the lack of compassion for minorities, the anti-semitism, the pillaging of Iraq’s natural and historic resources are a few but not everything Saddam Hussein had done that is known to her.

Hussein Of course. I agree with you on that. I know full well that The British Government created those borders the way they did on purpose to exploit conflict. Iraq and Kuwait is a great example. My point is that the Iraqis need a leader who doesn’t have any other interest than governing its people. A leader without any influence from outside powers.

@@John-il4iu Exactly but you already know that the power of a nation relies in its liquidity and its weapons. Your assets and your liquidity make sure that you have enough money to maintain the necessary manpower for security and progress. The weapons make sure that no one will come and take these assets. Irak have none of them, the only independant country in the area is Iran because it have its own weapons and nuclear r&d and back then they refused to let their ressources being exploited by British Petroleum. Any president in Irak is a puppet nothing more nothing else, I don't think I can be fooled to think otherwise.

You don't have to be an exceptional human being, sitting in front of a camera and showing confidence; any body can do that. A true measure of confidence is when all odds are against you and you are isolated, and yet you believe in your ideals and are ready to pay any price. Her father looked so confident when he was in power, and yet when the Americans got him, he didn't show any resistance and didn't dare to use his pistol or whatever gun he had with him. So much for his bravery: An ass in the guise of a lion!!!! No response would be read.

What about more than half of the population being subdued and tortured during Saddam's dictatorship? It's easy for his daughter to say "it is right for oneself to sacrify for the homeland". Sacrify yourself, then we'll see if she is ready and willing to do that for Iraq. I know that the middle eastern issues are more complex than what is being said here, but... the whole Hussain's family has proved to be violent and cruel beyond all means through time.

During the invasion and destruction of Iraq, I told my Iraqi friend that Iraqi people will face immense suffering that will make them weep for Saddam. I said it to that my friend knowing the intent of the invaders. Time has proven me right. When it was all said and done, every Iraqi valuable, including everything in her central bank was looted and carted away by the invaders. Look at Iraq today, a skeleton of her former self and the invaders have refused to leave. Iraq will continue to weep for Saddam for a long time. Hate the man, but he remains the best Iraq ever had in her modern history.

I'm not Iraqi and I don't know much about Iraq, its modern history and Saddam Hussein's good or wrong deeds. So I can't have a complete opinion about the situation. I can only comment based on this interview, that his daughter is an obviously very intelligent, mature and well articulated woman and that the journalist and his questions were respectful and made the talk very interesting. He could take advantage of having her at his disposal and behave in a low level, ironic way or try to extract from her things in a judgmental way (as we have seen happening in several other interviews of celebrities or political figures), but he didn't. Very professional indeed.

As a Westerner who has been and lived in Iraq for a few months, I say Saddam did not deserve to die. He was a very smart, educated man. Many fled, many betrayed. He gave it to his bodyguard for the money and exemption. This is distasteful. Saddam enriched many people, empowered many people who abused him. I can’t believe he knew everything about what happened in Balajit. many petty people through him, there he took advantage of his personal revenge against women and men. I believe that all the dictators who ever lived because of them who were not caught received the sentence. He is a charismatic man, undeniably. and the other sinners fled to the west, who did kill. We were tired of Iraq constantly invading its neighbors and causing instability in the region. You people truly are delusional. Saddam killed tens of thousands of his own people, and the country starved regularly. Saddam was a dictator for nearly 35 years. Presidents usually don’t control countries for that long, that’s what dictators do. He killed anyone who questioned him, his sons raped and murdered regularly snd got away with it. And you condone this behavior? Seems like someone has a short term memory. Or is a verifiable moron.

My students are able to ask more critical questions than what we witness here. They both miss the points where Saddam killed thousands of innocent kurds, stole their funds and also had millions og Shia muslims tortured. They both miss the point when Saddam attacked Iran and later Kuwait - leaving a human and environmental disaster. They both miss the point that millions lost their lands, heritage and families as they had to run for their lives. They both miss they point that her Saddam was a dictator - and she the daughter of a dictator that still to this day tries to manipulate the facts. Ask yourself why - what is her motivation for speaking out now. Any offspring of Saddam will always have a motivation related to power and this interview is only made to feed the supporters of Saddam with fuel to continue his cause. No different than when we see offsprings of nazi defending and manipulating their families criminal acts.

With respect brother you have eyes yet you still cannot see. Given this long period since Saddam Hussein syahid, until now we still see U.S put their soldier in here and there. A normal thinking-capable person would ask why. Iraq was the only land that they cant penetrate. For years they have tried and still cant. At the end they become snake and slander the lion himself. Then stated " the invasion of Iraq way back was intended TO DISARM SADDAM HUSSEIN OF WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION, TO END SADDAM HUSSEIN SUPPORT FOR TERRORISM, AND TO FREE THE IRAQI ". Soon after, the UN inspection team declared that they have found nothing, no evidence whatsoever of said weapon. And by God that had me laugh. I mean how can you do such disgusting act. Go invade people home and country, then costing live of many great men, over something that not entirely sure of its existence. Only a Despicaple deniers of God can act like this. Then why didnt they leave? Plus still send massive number of soldier? In the name of safety? To make sure that the 9/11 attack wouldnt happen again? By oppressing all soul, treat them like theyre not human being, drive them out of their land for decades? Someone please. Im deeply in sorrow just by thinking this. I cant even imagine what is it like to be at their place. Brother. Saddam Hussein was fighting the " anti-christ " of islam. These people are astray. As a man of faith, it is your duty to right what is wrong. Bring the people back to the truth. If they wont, then war it is. Because we take our religion seriously. Saddam hussein was fighting these people back then. The shia. Mind you, these arent muslim. They just put it like that so people outside think that Saddam is opressing his people, he is power abusing leader, and blablabla. If im not mistaken these people are only about 10% at that time. Its easy to see from outside point of view that Saddam is a brutal innocent-man killer. Whereas Saddam Hussien is a great leader that wouldnt sit, cower in the office giving orders. He is a LEADER that LEAD. Truly brave men of truth. He didnt even ask for any kind help from allied country. Nor did he plead or beg while tried. Then God take his soul because he endured so much. This world is not worthy of him. May he rest in peace. Bless his big heart.

@@fazrulfadhilah4740 Shia muslims are muslims. Shia muslims desend from the path of Muhammad's grandson, third Shia imam Husayn ibn Ali. Shia muslims in Iraq are Iraqis. Iraqis are humans. Therefore any attack on any shia muslim is an attack is an attack on humanity. Shia Muslims constitute the majority of Iraq. Saddam’s actions were designed to attack all the abovementioned - it was genocide. It was also genocide as he killed innocent Kurds. It was also genocide when he attacked Christians, Jews. The man started out inspired by communism and Lenin. Saddam did have allies but they gave up on him - who in their right mind would attack Kuwait? Who in their right mind would attack Iran? Who in their right mind would attack children, women and men in your own country? Who in their right mind could justify having connections to this man who suffered a death to mild comparred to that he offered others? We see another man by the name of Putin now attacking his neighbouring country - I am sure you also will see him as a leader as he slaughters Tartar Muslims in Ukraine. As he slaughters Christians and Jews. Dictators do not care for religion - Putin was not Christian before it became a strategic advantage. Saddam was not a Muslim before it became a strategic advantage - religion is used by dictators to manipulate millions - people like you so you can go on and fight others, and thus, benefit the dictator’s strategic game. You are no more than a small brick in their game. I speak so dangerous and ignorant ideas such as the ones presented by for instance you can be challenged. As they should. This saying means the transformation of Iraq into fiefdoms owned by gangs and religious families who established the mafia of money, weapons and militias, and called themselves parties, knowing that these filthy gangs used to call them by America, the Iraqi national opposition, and brought them. Through its tanks to hand it over to rule Iraq! These gangs, which call themselves parties, spent all of Iraq’s wealth on financing terrorist projects such as supporting Bashar al-Assad with money, weapons and militias, arming Hezbollah, and supporting the Houthis in Yemen. Iran, an economically besieged country, cannot finance those countries that are ruled by terrorists who belong to the Middle Ages. Rather, those who finance them are the terrorist gangs that rule Iraq. In short, America’s democracy not only destroyed Iraq, but also the Middle East

Ini juga wajar untuk kita jadikan PENGAJARAN supaya kita sebagai Rakyat Malaysia tidak mudah percaya terhadap propanda negara barat khususnya Amerika (The REAL Terrorist and Oppressor) . I stayed at her former mansion in the green zone which was next to the ministry of Defense building, a stones throw to the Cross Sabers stadium. The mansion was nice, it had 8 1 ton A/C units on the roof that kept dying. At the back was the kitchen where I found some laminated cards about 3”x5” that had a smiley face on one side and a sad face on the other. What she would do is go around inspecting the work by the servants. They have a indoor pool about 50 meters behind the mansion that was drained when we found it and it was filthy from all the Iraqi turds in it. Took a few days for the civilian workers to clean and disinfect the pool so we could use it. I drove into Baghdad on my own and found a swimming pool supply store and hired them that way as well as buying the needed supplies to keep the pool safe for the men of the Bn (2-6 INF, 1st AD). At the time, it was already getting above 100 degrees daily and we didn’t have A/C in most building we occupied in places all spread out around the zoo and stadium. The pool allowed us to cool down and clean up in the afternoon so we could get some rest which is critical for long term operations. To make it worse, my SMG told me to not repair the pool but, I disobeyed and then the Bn CSM found out and put his rubber stamp on my plans, needless to say my SMG wasn’t pleased.
