Había otras. Ya no era "la reina" del pop español de moda, si acaso alguien fue tal cosa del todo, que lo dudo. De hecho aunque seguía con Fangoria era mucho menos mainstream y toda una generación la conoció más de jurado de Lluvia de Estrellas que de otra cosa. En cierto modo en los noventa "su puesto" lo tomó Mónica Naranjo como diva pop e icono lgtbi. Un saludo

Hello again, India! Thank you for react to the original group and song. I was a child when they started. Alaska became a very famous singer, but this song is special even today. For example for me, bc I suffered bullying in the school, but for the LGBTI people is THE HIMN. She is the queen in the Pride Parades, she always has a carriage there, bc she always defended them. The Spanish music in the 80's became very wild ;) but you can find really good bands and singers from all the styles. Wellcome to the La Movida.

I know some people are very protective of the original versions but I was glad when Thalía covered in the 2000 and wouldn't mind to see this song be covered every 20 years to keep it alive. It's such an important hymn to self love, especially for the LGBT community but also for all minorities.

"You spin me right round" was produced by Stock Aitken and Waterman. Alaska + Dinarama wanted SAW to produce their 1986 album "No es pecado" where "A quién le importa" is taken from, but they were far too expensive, they still managed to get that sound though.
