I remember seeing him on TV with a teenage girl who was rejecting that she was working class even though she clearly was. She saw it as an insult John saw it as a badge of honor. We need a lot more like him as MPs

I remember John Prescott giving an interview where he talked about going to a secondary modern school. This happened to me but I passed the 13+ and I can tell you that I was told that I would never be a nurse or have a profession but I could be a shop girl provided I had a nice accent. The education was barely adequate. The shame was terrible for me and my parents. I knew exactly where he came from. Well done John Prescott, respect, RIP.

At least Prescott admitted the war in Iraq was wrong and illegal, he regretted having voted for it. Something that Blair and Campbell have never done. JB had interviewed both of these recently.
