He actually fidnt choose the place himself. Theyd hoped to force the battle the night before. Murrays party turned round when Charlie's party got within ear shot of the govt camps. This is why charlie thought hed been betrayed after the battle. They didnt pick that moor to fight on. Thats somy where it happened. They were using Culloden house as a food source. We know better today.

These words are not correct - the evidence is overwhelming that the choice of battle site was by the entire High Command, it was Hanoverian propaganda that the Prince insisted on a bad ground - didn't happen that way! - nor did the Jacobites carry 'sticks' against guns.
