@lucakat926210 ай бұрын
@@kruselka I know, I wrote that awhile ago. I don't actually know what happened but I heard he had an affair on Justyna and now he has a new 32 year old model girlfriend. I think he had the affair on tour with the Strokes. When he started to do a tour for his new album, Melodies on Hiatus, he wrote about it on Instagram. His wife put a comment saying jokingly that she "wished she had a ticket." I wrote her back saying coyly that "I'm sure you can get one." I saw a couple of hours later that Instagram showed she 'liked' my comment. Then, a couple of hours later, she deleted her original comment. I thought maybe it was a flaw on that platform. But, shortly thereafter, I heard that he had an affair on her. So I think that's the reason she deleted the comment. Plus, he ended up canceling the tour and hasn't written anything on his own Instagram page since.🧐 Apparently, if you try to send him a message through Instagram it will say back that he is in 'quite mode.' I used to be able to ask him a question just like once a year and he would generally write a quick reply. But I haven't talked to him through Instagram in awhile. I suppose he must have been getting messages on Instagram asking him about the 'affair.' I never personally did. But it appears that he got some crap about it from what I've read on reddit. The only time, he gets on Instagram now is to keep track of who he's following and he posts messages on his new girlfriend's account, complimenting her on whatever she's posting about now.🙁 Yeah, I have to admit that it's sad that they split up, especially considering that their little girl isn't even very old yet. I mean, I hate to say it but he's a rock star and they are prone to having affairs. But he was with Justyna for about 10 years or so. I was somehow hoping he would not do that. But I thought, surely if he does, he'll wait until the child is older but, unfortunately, since Justyna had to start staying at home in California with their child, he strayed on her.😑 Such a shame because I agree they made such a good couple.😢

I'm just leaving here a tiny but important comment: a band is not just a songwriter, you know? all the members make a great band. So when the people say "The Strokes is only Julian and the others just were there to play and putting ornamentation to Julian's songs" makes me put my rolling eyes. Look those guitar arrangements in Albert's album, dude! The Strokes aren't The Strokes without Julian's voice and songwriting; Nik and Albert's guitar spirit; Nikolai's exquisite bass rhythm and Fabrizio's specifics tempos. That's why Julian's and Albert's albums always will carry The Strokes cross and deal with it. However, I like how much Albert's had to say with this solo project. My congrats to him and @redbullrecords for this production, mostly with this song, I think this single is perfect. I don't remember when was the last time where I listen to a song and its video clip with the repeat option for a long time

You can still feel The Strokes with Albert's sound. I know that's a given because he was the guitarist but it still feels like a Strokes song. I feel Albert had the creative mind for the instrumental and Julian had his mind on tone and lyrics. Albert isn't better than The Strokes. He isn't better than Julian. Or vice versa. They ARE each other. You can still somewhat hear it in both Albert's and Julian's newer work

Could it be because Julian and Albert lived together in New York for 7 years together. Their playing styles could definitely have had an impact on each other. I know they are still the greatest of friends. Someone joked with Albert once and he said laughingly that "yeah we used to cuddle and everything." But, seriously, they still stay in touch. Can you imagine what it must have been like to see those those two living together. I mean, the girls and partying? I bet it was crazy at best.😉😁

My problem with The Voidz is too much strident and less melodic, which is something that I like of The Strokes. Despite of "lived in my dreams" (and with that single I decided to give a chance to Julian's band) all the album was still shrill so I didn't see him exponentially grow up, besides Albert with Francis Trouble did it and I appreciate that a lot!
