Alberta to create test site for drilling technology - November 25, 2024

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith announces her government will invest up to $50 million to support the creation of a drilling test site for technology development in the energy sector.
She is joined at the news conference in Leduc County by Rebecca Schulz (minister of environment and protected areas), Andrew Boitchenko (MLA for Drayton Valley-Devon), John Redfern (president and CEO of Eavor Technologies), John Gorman (vice-president of Canada and West Coast USA at Halliburton) and Jeanine Vany (executive vice-president of corporate affairs at Eavor Technologies).
