It looks like you had some great time outside, for grouse I carry a slingshot, pellet gun is too heavy, not powerful enough (unless you hit head/neck) and still too loud for my liking. Maybe we'll cross paths in the forest one of these days. New sub 👍

Thank you. Anytime spent in the bush is a success. No other place like it. I have been thinking about the slingshot too. I would need a bunch of practice.

Great couple days in the woods. Only two more months and we get started again. I chuckled those moose make a lot of noise. Gives you time to get ready.

Thats awesome. The actual harvest should always come second to going out on and adventure and learning something new. Good luck. We are headed for our first sheep hunt this year. I am just focusing on being in good shape and having fun camping on a mountain for a week.
