Man I love you. What an honest analysis of the crash-no ego, just honesty. And thanks for sharing the information on your injuries. You are a very special person. I wish the very best for you. BTW, the medical device that kept your foot in traction is an external fixator. It sounds like you got 1st class care. I’m a doctor in the US and I’m very impressed! Please take care Naska.

What an amazing guy. No blame - he owns the issue. He does not deflect or excuse. He analyzes to teach us and improve for next time. Finally, he acknowledges the medical staff and thanks them. It's not often I am impressed with a guy, like I am here.

Thanks for all the effort on the English version. I want to wish you a speedy recovery from your injuries and a quick return to racing! You should be very proud of the Italian healthcare system. We Canadians think we have the best healthcare system in the world - but it's obvious that Italy has a really amazing medical infrastructure.

Im happy to hear your health care is free. The last time I crashed a bike I broke my arm and it financially crippled me for over a year. I am extremely impressed at how you can analyze the entire process and learn from it.

"Free" medical care is a human right. The US spends billions of tax dollars on military equipment to "defend" it's citizens, when they could be better spent on medical care to actually save their lives.

Your honesty and humble spirit is too beautiful. I could definitely use a friend like you. I hope and pray that you will be better soon and back on the bike. I'd think twice about racing again if I was you. I'm 63 and enjoy my superbike. I've adjusted to: "I don't have to be fast, because my bike is". That doesn't mean that I'm crawling. I just don't allow the adrenaline to rule.

I got this video in recommended and I'm glad I watched it. Analyzing a mistake and accepting it is the only way to get better. Breaking your leg and vertebrae was really bad luck. I hope your recovery will be fast and without any long term health issues. But hey, let's find something positive about this, not many people can put a leg behind their head. Achievement unlocked 😃

Best wishes and SPEEDY recovery Alberto! Maybe this will make you heal faster. I did my first Track Day at 62 years old. I was a MotoCrosser many many moons prior. I love it! On day two, with a little precipitation, too much enthusiasm and not enough experience, I did a massive HIGH SIDE! I broke my clavicle into 7 pieces, broke ribs two through eight front and back, broke my pelvis but a nice break, and had a collapsed lung. I got back on the horse nearly one year later, and I LOVE it more! Only wish I had started earlier, and wish I had learned to walk before I tried to run! Love your channel!

I can't believe how unlucky you are, I'm really, really, really sorry for you. What is most admirable is how positive you are. I really have to say I admire you. also how you have improved with your motorcycle, so if someone does not give you props, they are just envious. So it's a shame that nothing more of you will come from the race track in the near future, but the most important thing is that you get 100% healthy again. I wish you all the best with all my heart and that you will be fully fit again next year.

Sorry to hear bro! Hope you have a good recovery! I’m sure you are going to miss riding but you will be back on the track soon. Just listen to your great doctors! Good luck! I’m currently healing from 2 broken wrists/hands, and a tibial plateau fracture(top of leg bone, right below the knee, so can’t move or put weight on the whole leg or foot) from a motorcycle accident. Doctors are amazed I’m alive. Can’t even start to try to walk for 8weeks. I feel your pain. But I can’t wait to get back on my bikes again!! Ride safe! Maybe do some product reviews and/or racing breakdown videos while you’re recovering, if you feel up to it. Get well soon brother!

Thanks for the update! Great content as always! Don't worry too much about your ankle mobility at the moment! Keep up with your exercises and as the swelling around the ankle and foot reduces you will find that increased mobility will return naturally (the swelling is the body protecting the injury) and your progress will be better than you expect! Moto GP has a lot of crashes to keep you busy on your channel! Can you go over some of them? especially Maverick Vinales amazing jump off the bike when his brakes failed at over 200km and he had no big injuries!
