Monposto in body colour is the way to go with the rear seat, the tail looks good that way, mines been that way for 17 years!

Clutch cover gaskets are very hard to find because it used a gasket maker style from the factory, and it is suggested to use that.

Looks great... And I agree on the fairings.. The one I bought in January has aftermarket repsol fairings on it.. Unsure of the brand, but alignment and fit is definitely not great. I'm about to do the forks on mine as soon as I can track down a triple tree stand to borrow. Also, you have two integrated tail lights on your Amazon list of parts. Which one did you end up using and what were the differences that made you choose that one?

The tail light i used is the Arashi, I added the triple tree stand add-on piece that I adapted to fit on my regular front stand, if you are handy at working with metal maybe you can do the same, there is some cutting and grinding involved. Good luck with your CBR, is such a fantastic bike 👍

@@AlbesADV once I get the suspension issues sorted she'll be 100% sound to ride anywhere. And I'm not a fan of the previous owners tire choice, but that's resolved easily enough

I love what have done with the bike so far, I have a 2002 cbr 954 as well, going to be doing valve adjustment soon, had whole bike apart over the winter with engine separated from frame and everything should have done it then, currently i have to have my idle turned up to around 1800rpm if i have it around 1200 it loops constantly and bike wants to die, not sure if it is valve related, but my number 3 cylinder starter valve adjustment has to be way further in than the other cylinders to pull equal vacuum but still the idle fluctuates a lot at around 1200 rpm, when riding down the road tho it is great, except for takeoff from light is a little slugish, once its going she is a beast tho

I’m loving this bike, so angry but at the same time very comfortable. Sounds like either the valve need to be re-shimmed or maybe it’s faulty spark plug, especially if it started doing it all of a sudden

@@AlbesADV it is a great bike, i know you like em stock but it sure feels nice with lsl tripple tree and handlebar risers dirtbike bars, makes long trips of 3 hours plus a breeze

@@AlbesADV what is valve spec manual says its 0.16 intake +- 0.03 exhaust 0.27 +- 0.03 but i cant find any of those sizes in my valve gauge pack

I bought a new battery this season. I was doing Uber eats with the bike. A month in and one day it takes longer to start. The next start it took twice as long. The last time it didn’t start. Towed it home and I put a starter kit on it and it started. What do you think is the problem. This is a 954rr

Its hard to say, did it make a weird noise while you push the starter button, how old are the spark plugs and do you ear the fuel pump priming when you turn the key?

@@AlbesADV no weird sound. Fuel pump primed. It just tumbled till battery died. I don’t know the age of the spark plugs.

Ugh, it could be a million things from fuel contamination to the crash sensor going bad. Sorry it's really hard to diagnose without seeing the bike

Dear Sir! I have a cbr954rr 2003 with 40000 km. Everything is good but the bike gets very hot in trafikk very fast and the fan works at 105 degrees. I have changed the coolant, termostat OEM parts. Still getting hot very fast. Any tips when you have time, thanks

It's kind of normal for the 954 to run hot in traffic, it you think something is wrong and it shouldn't get that hot try taking a look at the coolant and do a flush, maybe the coolant is very old, good luck 😀👍

Quante miglia ha moto che hai aggiustato le valvole? Penso manuale honda dice intorno ai 16000 miglia......comunque te sei messo la maietta e fatto cresce il baffo alla magnum p.i prossima volta il review del ferrari😂😂

@@AlbesADV io ho la 929rr cambiato catena pignone corona pasticche freno dischi anteriore posteriore cavi in acciaio per freni cambiato brake reservoir poi cambiato olio forcelle candele batterie lithium ingrassato il bearing cambiato il finale con scorpion filtto bmc olio vabbe col filtro olio insomma da quando presa a 8000km ora ne ha quasi 20.000km gli ho fatto parecchie cose non ancora aggiustato valvole ma quel tipo di lavoro lo lascero fare al meccanico troppo noioso😂
