Amazing. Any idea what's happening at the Maribyrnong viaduct at the moment? Wandered down there the other week and heaps of crews doing something at the southern end of the bridge

Broad Gauge Track so it doesn't get alot of attention as there's only a couple of trains a day

Won't look like this for very much longer, both broard gauge will be used for the Airport rail link. The RFR merge at sunshine will be extended past here and merge further toward Ginifer

It won't happen for many years is my personal opinion. State has no money smd if there's no votes in it federally, I wouldn't be expecting a handout there either

Feds hate Victoria, we have no money. They can't even decide on where to put the station. Sunshine is the superhub so they won't change that.

Is the broad gauge freight just rock ballast trains to and fro from the quarry? What freight now gets carried in vans not containers? What is the frequency of freight non bulk grain trains?

Quarry train runs 6 or 7 days a week. The odd infrastructure train runs. 9305 and 9306 containers to and from Tocumwal normally runs 3 days a week. There's the irregular broad gauge grains as well.

Times vary mate. The Apex was only filmed a,few weeks ago

It could do with some work. Behind the camera, the loop has had some work and looks alot better
